1. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days from the date of receiving the goods without giving any reason. This also applies to “made-to-order” (backorder) items, with the exception of goods manufactured to individual custom specifications.
2. How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
Send us an unequivocal statement of withdrawal to contact@bmworld.eu or by post to: BMWorld, ul. Al. Wincentego Witosa 10, 20-315 Lublin, Poland. Please state your order number, full name, and bank account details for the refund. You may use the model form provided below. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.
3. Returning the Goods
Return the goods no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to the following address: BMWorld, ul. Al. Wincentego Witosa 10, 20-315 Lublin, Poland. Please contact us before dispatching the parcel to arrange the return details. You will bear the direct costs of returning the goods. For large or heavy components (such as body parts), we will provide an estimated shipping cost upon your request. Package the parts securely and ship them with tracking and insurance; you are responsible for any damage incurred during return transit.
4. Condition of Goods upon Return
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. Therefore, before installation:
- Verify the compatibility of the part with your vehicle (OEM part number, VIN, product description); if in doubt, contact us prior to ordering;
- Parts installed on a vehicle, showing signs of use, mechanical damage, or damaged seals and packaging may be accepted with a deduction from the refund amount;
- Electronic control units and modules that have been coded, programmed, or VIN-locked to a specific car may become unsuitable for resale; ensure the part fits before coding;
- Keep the original packaging, labels, and markings on the part intact.
5. Reimbursement of Payments
We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us, without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. The refund will be carried out using the same payment method you used, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods. Any additional costs resulting from choosing a non-standard, more expensive delivery method over the cheapest standard delivery are non-refundable.
6. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods made to consumer specifications or clearly personalized (for instance, parts ordered and modified specifically for your vehicle), as well as in other statutory exceptions provided by law.
7. Exchanges
If you ordered the wrong part and the item remains unused and complete, we may exchange it for the correct one by prior agreement; you will cover the return and reshipping costs in both directions. Defective items or goods non-compliant with the contract will be replaced at our expense (see below).
8. Defective Goods or Non-Conformity (Warranty Claims)
If the goods are defective or do not conform to the contract, you have the statutory rights provided under Polish law. For full details and liability periods, please refer to our Terms and Conditions (Public Offer). Send your claim to contact@bmworld.eu including your order number, defect description, photographs, and preferred remedy (repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund). We will respond within 14 days. Defects resulting from improper installation, incorrect operation, or normal wear and tear are not covered by warranty claims.
9. Orders to Ukraine and Outside the EU
Returns and contract withdrawals follow the same conditions. International return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties or import fees must be covered by the buyer, unless statutory rules provide otherwise. You also retain the mandatory rights guaranteed under the imperative laws of your country of habitual residence.
